Lantern Walk

WHAT a perfect location! A member family with a wooded backyard for gathering and play and lake setting for a unique view as we walked around with our lanterns. The beauty of our group is the flexibility of events to our specific needs, so we were easily able to adjust the planned agenda when little tummies rumbled earlier than expected. A shadow puppet show was not only lovely entertainment, but also a reminder of the move into the dark part of the year, when inner and external light becomes all the more important. Then, at dusk, children and adults lit their own path with homemade lanterns as we processed through the streets singing "I go with my little lantern."
